All Sons & Daughters, the worship duo composed of David Leonard and Leslie Jordan, continue to inspire audiences with their acoustic, folk aesthetic and lyrics that focus squarely on Jesus while embracing the tension of the Christian walk. The Franklin, Tennessee-based worshipers will take their songs on the road beginning March 4, inviting listeners to join them and guest speaker Jamie George for "A Night Of Worship Tour", traveling to 19 cities across the U.S.
Hailed by fans and critics alike, All Sons & Daughters have released three EPs and two full-length albums featuring songs such as "All The Poor and Powerless," "Brokenness Aside," "Great Are You Lord" and "Oh How I Need You". Their most recent full-length project, a CD/DVD titled LIVE, garnered the duo its first Dove Award nominations with nods in the "Praise & Worship Album" and "Long Form Video" categories. Their next project, a self-titled studio recording, is set to release through Integrity Music on May 6.
While on tour, Jordan and Leonard, who serve on staff at Journey Church in Franklin, will be sharing songs from their previous albums and the forthcoming project. They will be joined on the tour by their pastor, Jamie George, whom they describe as an "avid story collector and storyteller." In addition to his pastoral role at Journey, George is the author of Love Well, a book that encourages believers to move past cycles of shame, fear and hopelessness to find freedom in Christ and renewal in His community.
At each Night of Worship event, participants will not only be encouraged to listen and sing along, they will be given the opportunity to contribute their own expressions of worship through journaling their prayers, drawing and praying for one another at special areas set up throughout the church or auditorium.
"We have experienced a great freedom in worship over the past four years in our community at Journey Church," says Jordan. "Our hope is that we can encourage people to enter that same freedom when they join us on a Night of Worship... to put aside distractions and engage in a sweet conversation with God."
In addition to the "A Night of Worship Tour," (dates below), All Sons & Daughters will lead worship for the Christian College Leadership Conference at California Baptist University in April, and they travel to the U.K. in May to lead worship for "Big Church Day Out," Britain's largest Christian music festival.
